Sycamore Canyon Campground is in Point Mugu State Park. It is right on the coast (but not on the beach), has a hiker/biker site, showers and is about 20 miles or so north of the town of Malibu (just north of LA) on the Southern California Coast. It is right off Highway 1, the usual California coastal biking route, and across the street from the beach. It is a pretty park with lots of trees and hiking trails.

There isn't anywhere to eat around nor places to shop so you need to bring food to eat/cook.

I have stayed there and really enjoyed the quiet and the trees.
