In May, 2015, I did a tour of the Italian Lake District. This loop tour started/ended in Milan's Malpensa Airport. I first went east to Bassano Del Grappa, then north up to Bormio, across a couple lakes to Switzerland, and as far west as Domodossola. You can see my route here. Everyday I saw stunning scenery. There were many rivers, lakes, forests, waterfalls, snow-covered mountains, and other beautiful spots. I took over 1,900 photos and it was hard winnowing it down to under 50.
